Second installment of the Kinsmen series. I was not disappointed with this offering. The authors have a way to weave a compelling world-building in a few words.
It was a nice change to have the main character being the more 'knowledgeable' in the story. The heroine knows what the hero is going through because she isolate herself for self-preservation and him by social necessity. This romance of cat and mouse chase was fun to witness. The story had some small holes in the plot but I guess it was intentional and considering how short this story is, it was expected. Waiting patiently for book 3.
