I am torn with this book.
Some reviewers have compared this book with Fifty Shades. I can't make that claim because I did not like or even finished the first book. I can see why because Korum is very possessive and controlling rich millionaire type. The first half of the story is typical (while being well written) and did not hold much interest for me.
The second half of the story really got me interested when Mia took an active role for the future of her life in general. Mia knows that she is trapped but still tries to make a difference. I especially liked the world-building and the feeling of an episode of Star Trek.
